Twilio (SMS)

Connect Twilio to send SMS notifications and OTP messages.

Twilio powers SMS delivery for order notifications, COD OTP verification, and subscriber broadcasts. Go to Integrations → Twilio (route /twilio).

Setup

  • Create a Twilio account at twilio.com.
  • Get your Account SID and Auth Token from the Twilio Console.
  • Get a Twilio phone number (or use your verified sender ID for India).
  • Enter Account SID, Auth Token, and Phone Number in the Cresivox Twilio settings page.
  • Save and test by placing an order.

Two-factor authentication

Enable SMS OTP for checkout and login verification at Integrations → Two Factor (route /twofactor). Customers receive a 6-digit OTP via SMS for logins and COD order confirmation.

⚠️India A2P regulations: For Indian SMS, you need a DLT-registered sender ID and message template. Register on TRAI's DLT platform. Use your registered sender ID instead of Twilio's default number for India-destined SMS.
